Senior Analyst, Capital & Fixed Assets (Manufacturing)
Department: Finance – Manufacturing / OperationsReports To: Manager, Finance Operations
Saray Range: $96,000 - $110,000

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Capital & Fixed Assets to lead financial governance of capital projects and fixed assets across our manufacturing network. This role provides critical oversight of CapEx spending, project performance, asset utilization, and internal controls, while partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, and Corporate Accounting.
What You’ll Do
Capital Projects & Forecasting
Manage the full lifecycle of capital projects, including business cases, approvals, tracking, and closeout.
Lead annual CapEx budgeting and monthly forecasting; provide clear variance analysis.
Maintain the consolidated capital project register and monitor WIP/CIP aging.
Fixed Asset Management & Idle Assets
Maintain an accurate asset register for all manufacturing sites.
Track idle, obsolete, and underutilized assets; support redeployment or disposal decisions.
Identify impairment triggers and support related accounting entries.
Impairments, AROs & Compliance
Prepare financial analysis for annual and ad-hoc impairment reviews.
Support the assessment and recording of asset retirement obligations (AROs).
Ensure proper asset classification, valuation, and documentation.
Audit & Internal Controls
Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits related to CapEx and fixed assets.
Prepare reconciliations, audit schedules, and documentation.
Strengthen controls around project approval, capitalization, tagging, and disposals.
Physical Verification
Lead periodic fixed-asset physical counts across manufacturing facilities.
Reconcile results to the ledger and resolve discrepancies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Procurement to maintain cost discipline and project accountability.
Enhance CapEx and asset reporting through ERP, Tagetik, and Power BI.
Support continuous improvement in capital project governance and asset management processes.
What You Bring
CPA/CMA preferred; degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering.
5–10+ years in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or project controls.
Strong understanding of CapEx, WIP/CIP, fixed assets, depreciation, and impairments.
Experience with ERP systems (JDE, SAP) and financial reporting tools (Power BI, Tagetik).
Excellent communication, analytical ability, and partnering skills.
