Based in Thornhill , this role drives structure, clarity, and compliance across complex project environments. As a Document Controls Manager , you play a mission-critical role in how teams collaborate, deliver, and maintain high value information for some of Ontario’s most impactful infrastructure and energy projects.
Your Impact
Lead end-to-end document control processes across multidisciplinary project teams.
Build and maintain document management systems to ensure compliance, accuracy, and traceability.
Develop and enforce standards for configuration control, versioning, and metadata integrity.
Support project managers, engineers, and construction teams with timely, accurate documentation flow.
Monitor quality and audit documentation performance to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
Oversee document lifecycle processes including submission, review, approval, archiving, and retrieval.
Train and mentor project staff on document control tools, workflows, and best practices.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless exchange of information.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement continuous improvements.
The Skills That Set You Apart
Experience managing document control for large, multistakeholder engineering or utility projects.
Strong proficiency with document control systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, Procore, or similar).
Deep understanding of configuration management, project records requirements, and QA/QC protocols.
Ability to guide teams, standardize workflows, and introduce scalable structure.
Adept at working with engineering, construction, and project management personnel.
Detaildriven mindset with the ability to optimize processes and reduce documentation risk.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 – $88,400
MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $60,300 – $80,000
