Overview:
Pure Technologies is seeking a process oriented, quality focused Production Technician to work with a fast paced and dynamic production group, to support development and manufacturing of Pure’s core technologies and tools to meet Pure’s expanding business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Complete electro mechanical assemblies through in-house training and assembly documentation
Maintain & update production related documents with accuracy and effectiveness
Test products as required
Ability to use hand and power tools
Perform repetitive tasks
Able to lift 50 lbs. (on occasion)
Cable and harness assembly (crimping, soldering)
General shop tasks
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent English verbal & written communication skills
Able to follow complex and detailed technical documents with attention to procedure
Disciplined work ethic displaying initiative & requiring minimal supervision
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Understanding of electronic component assembly and wiring
Experience with evolving production processes, improvements and implementations
Able to work under pressure, with tight deadlines, and changing priorities
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years’ experience in small batch electronics and equipment manufacturing
Grade 12 diploma
Mechanical and/or Electronics background an asset
