Description We are looking for an HR Recruiter to help drive talent acquisition for a busy real estate and property management organization in California. This contract-to-permanent position will lead recruiting efforts for both corporate teams and onsite property staff, with a strong focus on speed, quality, and compliance. The role works closely with operational leaders to build dependable staffing pipelines and deliver a smooth candidate experience from outreach through onboarding.
Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for a range of openings across property operations and corporate support functions, ensuring each search moves efficiently from intake to placement.
• Identify and engage candidates with relevant experience through multiple sourcing channels, including online platforms, referrals, and networking efforts.
• Conduct candidate evaluations and interviews to assess experience, fit, and readiness for both hourly and salaried opportunities.
• Partner with hiring managers and operational leadership to coordinate interviews, align on staffing priorities, and move staffing decisions forward promptly.
• Prepare and extend employment offers while supporting pre-employment steps and onboarding activities.
• Maintain organized and accurate recruiting records within the applicant tracking system and ensure staffing documentation is current.
• Apply staffing policies and employment regulations throughout the recruitment process, including background screening and related compliance steps.
• Monitor recruiting performance indicators such as pipeline health and time-to-fill to support workforce planning and process improvement.
• Contribute to job advertisement quality and employer branding efforts to strengthen candidate attraction in a competitive market. Requirements • At least 2 years of recruiting experience, ideally within property management, real estate, multifamily housing, or another high-volume hiring environment.
• Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment for both onsite operational roles and corporate or administrative positions.
• Experience hiring hourly and salaried employees across multiple job types and levels.
• Working knowledge of employment laws, compliant hiring practices, and standard pre-employment procedures.
• Proficiency using applicant tracking systems and common recruiting platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
• Strong interviewing, sourcing, and candidate assessment skills with the ability to handle multiple open requisitions at once.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with onsite teams and business leaders.
• Familiarity with onboarding support, employee documentation, or recruitment for maintenance and skilled trade roles is a plus. TalentMatch®
