Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Mission, Kansas. This role involves managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate cash application processes while supporting the overall accounts receivable operations. Responsibilities:
• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle cash applications, allocating payments to appropriate accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing functions are executed correctly.
• Maintain organized records of financial activities for auditing purposes.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable records.
• Provide support in preparing regular financial reports related to receivables.
• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and ensure proper follow-up.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding payment inquiries and updates. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in managing cash applications and reconciling payments.
• Familiarity with billing processes and financial documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Effective communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
