Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

Join our team as a TIG Welder, where your primary responsibility will be TIG welding on hydraulic pump liners, formed hydraulic tube assemblies, fabricated tubular parts, and custom tube manifolds. You will engage in turntable TIG welding using foot operation and perform overhead welding, primarily working with round thin wall tubing. About 80% of the materials used are mild steel, with the remainder being stainless steel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on round thin wall tubing for hydraulic pump liners and other assemblies.

  • Conduct turntable TIG welding using foot operation and overhead welding.

  • Work with formed hydraulic tube assemblies, fabricated tubular parts, and custom tube manifolds.

  • Fit tubings and ensure high production with shorter runs, averaging 50 pieces per order.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience or an equivalent technical degree.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Willingness to work overtime.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Team player with good attendance.

  • Experience in short run, high production environments is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
