Job Description

An employer is looking for a Sr. Project Manager for one of our top utility clients in the Nation. This Project Manager is accountable for the on-time, on-budget delivery of a multiyear capital Data Modernization program. We are looking for someone who has experience running large multimillion dollar projects within Enterprise Data environments. Anyone who has work on any data governance projects or has knowledge of Enterprise Data environments will be able to hit the ground running. The PM is responsible for planning the work, managing a cross-functional team comprised of employees, contractors, and vendors at distributed work locations, mitigating issues and risks, and communicating status. The PM is also responsible for forecasting costs, tracking actuals, and explaining variances. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record managing complex projects with layers of high visibility, vendor and SI management, and multi-year commitments. This team is very collaborative and are in growth mode looking for someone to come and join the Data & AI group!

Skills and Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as technical Project Manager

• PMO and Project Governance Experience

• Data domain project delivery background and Enterprise Data environment experience

• Multimillion dollar project financial management or greater

• Vendor/SI Management Experience – providing financial control and aggressively driving vendor to meet date and budget commitments.

• Waterfall project experience

• Excellent communication & ability to be a driver & take ownership of the project plans
