Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Description We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in preparing detailed financial analyses, supporting reporting initiatives, and delivering actionable insights to guide decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across various departments and contribute to the firm’s overall financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive financial reports and analyses using accounting systems, report-writing tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, financial statement reviews, and ad-hoc analyses.
• Collaborate with internal teams to complete high-priority external surveys and deliver accurate data.
• Partner with the FP& A leadership team to understand priorities and provide guidance to entry level analysts.
• Lead and manage ad hoc projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Gain a deep understanding of the firm’s financial systems and operations to act as a subject matter expert.
• Leverage tools such as Excel, Power Query, and Tableau to generate accurate and actionable financial insights.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team’s objectives. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in financial analysis or related roles.
• Strong expertise in accounting systems, reporting tools, and financial operations.
• Advanced skills in financial analysis, modeling, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in utilizing data mining techniques to extract and analyze complex datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
