CBRE Sr. Finance Systems Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota

About the Role:

As a CBRE Senior Finance Systems Analyst, you will provide advanced support and technical assistance to users for complex issues related to Yardi software.

This job is part of the Financial Systems job function. They are responsible for ensuring accounting systems operate effectively.

What You’ll Do:

  • Respond to requests for assistance with Yardi software.

  • Document issues, resolutions, or other actions using the incident management system.

  • Resolve complex issues, including escalated requests from lower-level support staff.

  • Design and develop custom reports based on internal and external client business requirements.

  • Guide small to medium size system migrations, new client implementations, and system upgrades. Actively participate in projects, to increase efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

  • Identify difficult process and system improvements and execute solutions that will increase efficiencies and customer satisfaction by using established processes to initiate a new work effort.

  • Assist the Supervisor with reviewing system and user request reports to ensure all systems supported are in compliance.

  • Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.

  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.

  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

  • Document issues, resolutions or other actions using the incident management system.

What You’ll Need :

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Experience with Yardi software is a critical requirement.

  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the senior finance system analyst position is $70,000 annually and the maximum salary for the senior finance systems analyst position is $80,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
