As a Spot Welder, you’ll contribute directly to producing durable components used in industry‑leading equipment. If you enjoy hands‑on work, precision, and being part of a strong production team, this role provides a great long‑term path.
Position: Spot Welder
The Spot Welder operates resistance welding equipment to join sheet‑metal assemblies used in production. This role requires quality‑driven workmanship, the ability to interpret detailed specifications, and consistent execution of weld processes.
Core Responsibilities
Operate resistance spot welding equipment to join sheet‑metal components.
Interpret production orders, fixtures, method layouts, and engineering drawings.
Inspect welds to ensure proper nugget size, alignment, and penetration.
Position and prepare metal components prior to welding.
Perform related finishing tasks (grinding, spatter removal, part cleanup).
Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot spot welding machines.
Complete changeovers based on job requirements.
Achieve and maintain productivity and quality expectations within 3 months.
Support entry‑level welders by sharing best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement and a safe, collaborative work environment.
Required Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Training or experience with sheet metal fabrication is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to routinely lift up to 40 lbs.
Requires long periods of standing and frequent bending, stooping, and lifting.
Strong manual dexterity needed.
Work Environment & Safety
Steel‑toed boots are required during interviews, orientation, and all working hours.
Additional PPE provided onsite: gloves, eye protection, ear protection (as required), sleeves (optional).
Exposure to sparks, heat, fumes, oils, grease, metal particles, sharp edges, and noise.
Must maintain a clean, professional appearance.
Shifts & Hours
1st Shift:
5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
2nd Shift:
3:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
