Job Description
Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company, is seeking Senior Project Manager with our client in Minneapolis, MN
Our client is seeking a highly autonomous and experienced Senior Project Manager to provide end-to-end program and project leadership for a portfolio of banking, lending, and advisor-facing initiatives during a maternity leave coverage period. This role will act as the primary owner of execution, driving delivery across multiple concurrent projects while managing dependencies, engaging executive stakeholders, and proactively resolving risks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment and brings strong financial services experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to maintain momentum across complex initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Delivery Leadership
Own day-to-day execution for a portfolio of Credit Card, Home Lending, Securities-Based Lending, and Advisor Engagement initiatives
Lead project ideation and planning, translating concepts into executable strategies, including cost/benefit analysis and funding justification
Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, and milestone tracking across multiple workstreams
Drive projects through the full lifecycle, from requirements through delivery, launch, and post-launch follow-up
Maintain project trackers, documentation, meeting notes, action items, and risk logs across initiatives
Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management
Serve as the central coordination point across Product, Technology, Analytics, Operations, Risk/Compliance, and external vendors
Lead working sessions, status meetings, and executive updates, primarily via Microsoft Teams
Proactively identify and resolve cross-team dependencies and blockers, escalating with clear recommendations when needed
Executive Planning, Communication & Reporting
Prepare executive-ready updates, scorecards, and status reports for leadership and governance forums
Report on program performance, metrics, and key insights to senior stakeholders
Develop and refine executive-level presentations and communications, ensuring alignment with brand standards
Support and coordinate bank-wide planning processes, including managing timelines, templates, submissions, and revisions
Ensure consistent, clear communication for major initiatives, announcements, and Town Hall materials
Required Experience & Skills
Experience
10+ years of experience in senior project or program management within a matrixed organization
Proven track record managing multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives in financial services, banking, or regulated environments
Experience across the full project lifecycle, including strategy, prioritization, development, and delivery
Strong background in creating executive-level communications and presentations for senior leadership
Experience with financial analysis, including basic ratios and cost/benefit evaluation
Skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (executive-ready)
Strong planning, prioritization, and dependency management capabilities
Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and drive outcomes
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:
Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook
PowerPoint (executive storytelling, branding, formatting)
Excel (analysis and tracking)
Visio (process flows)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and connect insights across reports
The base hourly range for this contract position is $70-$100 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
