As a Security Officer in Saint Paul, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a leading medical technology location, maintaining a high-visibility presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will complete routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, support access control and visitor guidance, and communicate clearly with site teams. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to site employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
Monitor and respond to alarms, access control notifications, and/or camera activity; escalate issues to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Control access at designated points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and badging, and maintaining sign-in logs according to site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations and actions in reports, and communicate updates to supervisors and/or client contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
