This role partners closely with customers to design, sell, and deliver custom landscape projects from initial consultation through final installation. The position involves on-site client meetings, site analysis, design development, estimating, and proposal creation to ensure solutions align with customer goals and site conditions. Responsibilities include managing the full sales process, coordinating internal landscape crews and approved subcontractors, overseeing project execution to company standards, and completing final walkthroughs, billing, and administrative tasks. The role also supports customer sales in other departments during off-peak seasons. POSITION DUTIES: Customer service set up appointments with customers, meet and interview customer onsite, determine their needs, and what materials would be appropriate for the site and to meet the customer s goals. Site analysis of customer s project areas including grading for drainage, elevations, sunlight levels, soil type, note public and private utilities, relevant site furnishings, and relevant plant materials. Design development: estimating, drafting a plan to scale, gathering product specifications and developing a complete project proposal for the customer. Selling process will involve meeting customers and reviewing their project costs and design for their property. As needed revise estimates as required by customer requests and edit all drawing to ensure accuracy for the project. Follow up with final presentation with the intent to close the sale and completion of all contractual paperwork, terms and deposits. Perform all required project management to ensure design intent is carried out to Bachman s standards. This is to include Bachman s Landscape crews and all required subcontractors. Work with Bachman s approved subcontractors to obtain accurate estimates for decks, walls, patios, fences, lighting, tree and shrub removal, sod installation, and sprinkler installation. Final walk-through on site with customers at the end of their project to ensure that the customer is satisfied with all aspects of the project. Collect all final payments and explain any billing questions to the customer to ensure accurate billing. Administrative paperwork, meetings, telephone and email messaging. Selling in other departments as required during off-peak season.
