We are seeking a highly analytical and communicative professional with prior PMO experience to support project and portfolio management reporting, insights, and decision making. This role will partner closely with PMO leadership, project managers, and executives to translate complex project data into clear, actionable dashboards, with a strong emphasis on Power BI and support for an ongoing migration from Power BI to Sigma.
The ideal candidate understands how portfolios are managed in practice—not just how data is visualized—and can communicate insights confidently to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
PMO & Portfolio Support
• Partner with PMO leadership to support enterprise project and portfolio management (PPM) processes
• Translate PMO reporting standards, governance requirements, and KPIs into scalable analytics solutions
• Support portfolio level decision making by providing visibility into project health, risks, financials, and capacity
Dashboard Development & Analytics
• Design, build, and maintain project and portfolio dashboards, including:
o Portfolio and project health (RAG status)
o Financial performance (budget vs forecast vs actuals)
o Schedule, milestones, and delivery confidence
o Risks, issues, and dependencies
o Resource capacity and utilization
• Build and enhance Power BI dashboards, including data models, measures, and report logic
• Support and contribute to the migration of reporting and dashboards from Power BI to Sigma, ensuring continuity, data accuracy, and usability
• Partner with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure dashboards meet PMO and executive needs
Data & Systems Integration
• Work with data from project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Planview, Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps)
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and delivery teams to align on data definitions and quality
• Support ongoing dashboard enhancements as PMO maturity and reporting needs evolve
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as a trusted analytics and reporting partner to PMs, program managers, and senior leaders
• Clearly communicate insights, trends, and risks through dashboards, presentations, and discussions
• Translate complex data into concise, executive ready narratives
• Facilitate conversations around portfolio health, prioritization, and tradeoffs
