Kelly Services Production Lab Assistant - Second Shift in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Production Lab Assistant – Second Shift (2:00PM-10:30PM)

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Lab Assistant to support second-shift operations. This role is responsible for processing raw biological materials used in manufacturing, maintaining and cleaning production equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a hands-on laboratory environment, and is comfortable with working second shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process raw biological materials for use in manufacturing products

  • Maintain and clean production equipment and containers

  • Ensure proper handling and sanitation of lab materials and workspaces

  • Accurately complete required documentation and production records

  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production operations

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 0–2 years of laboratory or related experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Willingness and ability to work with blood and blood products

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to assess appropriate actions

  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks with minimal supervision

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
