Job Description
Join our team as a 1st Shift Production Assembler, where you will play a key role in assembling electrical and mechanical parts into finished products using various tools and assembly process equipment. You will have the opportunity to cross-train in different areas such as mechanical, electronic, testing, microscope, soldering, and finishing, gaining valuable skills and experience.
Responsibilities
Assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products.
Use a variety of tools including screwdrivers and torque wrenches.
Hand solder components, depending on the department.
Apply various adhesives and chemicals as needed during the assembly process.
Utilize computer workstations for record-keeping and testing purposes.
Perform electronic testing on final assemblies using various test equipment.
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure product standards.
Lift up to 40 pounds consistently as part of the assembly process.
Essential Skills
1+ year experience with assembly and production.
Proficiency with small screwdrivers, torque wrenches, wiring, and soldering.
Ability to read work instructions and blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with soldering and/or microscope work is a significant plus.
Familiarity with schematic, soldering, blueprint reading, and microscope usage.
EDU Diploma and JSTD certification are highly preferred.
Experience with PCB or small part assembly is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
