Job Description

Join our team as a 1st Shift Production Assembler, where you will play a key role in assembling electrical and mechanical parts into finished products using various tools and assembly process equipment. You will have the opportunity to cross-train in different areas such as mechanical, electronic, testing, microscope, soldering, and finishing, gaining valuable skills and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products.

  • Use a variety of tools including screwdrivers and torque wrenches.

  • Hand solder components, depending on the department.

  • Apply various adhesives and chemicals as needed during the assembly process.

  • Utilize computer workstations for record-keeping and testing purposes.

  • Perform electronic testing on final assemblies using various test equipment.

  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure product standards.

  • Lift up to 40 pounds consistently as part of the assembly process.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year experience with assembly and production.

  • Proficiency with small screwdrivers, torque wrenches, wiring, and soldering.

  • Ability to read work instructions and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with soldering and/or microscope work is a significant plus.

  • Familiarity with schematic, soldering, blueprint reading, and microscope usage.

  • EDU Diploma and JSTD certification are highly preferred.

  • Experience with PCB or small part assembly is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
