ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Our client, a leader in commercial real estate services, is seeking a dedicated Operating Engineer 2 to join their team. As an Operating Engineer 2, you will be part of the operations team supporting building maintenance and systems management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, technical proficiency, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Operating Engineer 2
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Pay Range: $35.00 - $38.50/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
What's the Job?
Complete tasks including painting, pressure washing, and maintaining lighting systems within licensing requirements
Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and address tenant service requests promptly
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on building systems
Support emergency response situations as needed
Troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and control systems to ensure optimal operation
What's Needed?
At least 3 years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry
Trade school education, union training, military service, or college background preferred
Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in obtaining within the first year (with employer support)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably on ladders up to 30 feet tall
