Wells Fargo Lending Operations Senior Manager in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Senior Manager in Corporate Investment Bank Lending Operations , Syndication Servicing Team, supporting Commercial Real Estate agented deals.
In this role, you will:
Manage and develop large Loan Production, Loan Servicing, and Commercial or Real Estate Construction Loan teams responsible for loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks, loan monitoring, loan servicing, or underwriting activities
Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the Lending Operations functional area
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional area
Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines
Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies
Determine appropriate strategies and actions of Lending Operations team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables
Interpret and develop policies and procedures for meeting compliance, risk management, and quality standards
Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including experienced managers
Interact with external customers throughout the conducting of loan processing and liquidations evaluation
Provide quality customer service
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in a complex, regulated financial services environment.
Strong working knowledge of CRE loan products, syndicated lending structures, and administrative agent responsibilities.
Proven ability to manage operational risk, controls, and regulatory interactions.
Strong working knowledge with wholesale loan servicing systems and workflows: loan accounting (Loan IQ), servicing platforms-Global Servicing Solution (GSS), Loan Availability Monitoring (LAM).
Strong change management, process improvement, or operational excellence background.
Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to influence across lines of business.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of credit policy, compliance, monitoring, and documentation requirements
Deep knowledge and understanding of commercial real estate lending banking products and the credit practices/operating risks associated with them
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
Sound analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels; where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are critical
Results oriented with outstanding ability to motivate teams and mobilize the resources to accomplish objectives
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$131,000.00 - $206,000.00
