Summary The Inventory Control Supervisor oversees inventory accuracy and control processes across multiple PD warehouses, including manufacturing heavy and distribution/packout facilities. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant inventory management within a complex engineer to order and print on demand environment. The Supervisor serves as a functional lead of inventory processes in Dynamics 365 F&O, driving transaction discipline, cycle count execution, and system accuracy. Working closely with Engineering, Project Management, Production, and Logistics, this position leads root cause analysis, develops standardized SOPs, and implements process improvements to achieve and sustain the company goal of 99% inventory accuracy. The role balances daily operational oversight with long term planning, reporting, and policy development to support PD s commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Ensure consistent execution of cycle counts, physical inventories, and transaction discipline across all sites. Responsible for coordinating training and supervising the activities of employees in the inventory department along with cross training of Shipping and Receiving clerks on inventory functions. Review, approve and enter inventory adjustments into the system according to the cycle count schedules and as needed. Serve as the functional owner for inventory processes in Dynamics 365 F&O, including cycle count programs, inventory journals, location directives, and transaction accuracy. Collaborate with IT/ERP teams to troubleshoot posting errors, improve system configuration, and enhance user training. Coordinate with Production to determine the Root cause of inventory variances and work with Production to develop and implement required process changes to reduce/eliminate inventory variances, including new SOP s or other Company policies and procedures. Lead initiatives to achieve and sustain 99% inventory accuracy across all warehouses. Develop and maintain KPIs for accuracy, cycle count compliance, transaction errors, and root cause categories. Education/Certification Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in Logistics or related field Experience Must have strong understanding of the relationship between inventory transactions/balances and their impact on the financial Statements Minimum 5 years of experience in Inventory Control, Production Control Excellent computer skills in Excel & ERP/scheduling software Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting may be required throughout the workday.
