JLG ARCHITECTS Director of Human Resources in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Director of Human Resources will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, driving initiatives that support JLG s growth as a nationally recognized architecture firm and an employee-owned organization. Key Responsibilities Partner with executive leadership to design and implement HR strategies that align with JLG s business goals, core values, and ESOP culture. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing counsel on organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development. Lead cultural and change-management initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and retention. Oversee recruitment strategies to attract and retain top-tier talent across all disciplines in alignment with firm s business goals. Drive strategies for learning and development, performance management, and career growth opportunities. Ensure JLG attracts and retains top talent by reinforcing our reputation as an industry-leading employer. Develop and support HR staff in achieving performance expectations and goals. Foster an employee experience that reflects JLG s vision and values. Lead engagement initiatives, including employee surveys, feedback programs, and recognition systems. Support supervisors in building high-performing, accountable teams. Design competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs (total rewards) aligned with JLG s ESOP model. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and industry standards. Partner with finance team to align HR programs with business planning and budgeting. Oversee HR policies, systems, and processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, employee accessibility, and effective risk management. Leverage HR analytics to support decision-making and measure operational effectiveness. Lead continuous improvement in HR practices. All other duties as assigned
