Position Summary:
The Data Reporting Analyst for Payment Solutions will drive reporting and insights to help the company increase collections, reduce bad debt expense, retain customers, and optimize customer support by designing, building, and maintaining reporting and analytics complex reports and dashboards.
Essential Responsibilities / Duties
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in multiple and complex data sets
Generate monthly reporting and analyze results including report automation, dashboard layout, and data accessibility
Perform ad-hoc analytics to help understand business trends and customer behavior
Partner with leaders and stakeholders to translate strategy to defined goals and desired measurements. Use business analysis skills to hone requirements and design reporting to monitor impact of strategies/initiatives
Propose new methods for data-driven decision making, evaluating information, incorporating best practices from high-performing organizations and staying current on the external market
Keep business stakeholders informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective metrics and reporting management
Identify gaps in models, architecture, and source data, performing quality assurance and working to fix data gaps
Present financial and operational metrics to help drive decisions and/or key improvements
Identify new and creative ways to leverage platforms (e.g., ERP, Salesforce, Payment Portals, usage/adoption systems, AI etc.) to optimize and modernize business processes and insights reporting
Generate and improve operational reporting for write offs, 3rd party collections, and forecast (bad debt expense, write offs, retention pipeline), providing insights on trends, variance, and forecast
Own the suspension automation program reporting and partnership with technology to continuously improve reporting, automation, and workflow.
Collaborate with data, reporting, and tech roles across groups to ensure infrastructure, requirements, standards, and processes are in place and learning is shared
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2+ years of related experience (analytics, reporting, accounting, collections, financial analysis) or equivalent education and experience
Strong knowledge of, and experience with ERPs, CRMs, business intelligence/reporting packages (Power BI, Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, etc.), databases (Snowflake, Azure, SQL-based, etc), query languages (VBA, Power Query/M, SQL)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of data modeling and architecture (table relationships, DIM and FACT tables, star schemas) with understanding one-to-many and many-to-many relationships
Proven skills performing thorough, quantitative, and qualitative analysis, queries, and simplifying complexity and visuals for presentation and communication
Self-motivated, ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects independently
Continuous and curious learner
Preferred Work Experience
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Math, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Management or Statistics
Experience in AR, collections, finance business processes
Early adopter, including use of AI and emerging technologies
Experience working closely with Revenue Teams and/or SaaS revenue operations
Experience with operational excellence, process improvement and/or lean six sigma methodologies
Experience with statistical packages (Excel, R, SPSS, SAS) and programming (Python, XML, ETL formats, Java Script, etc.)
Location:
This role follows a hybrid work model, with regular in-office presence required at our US MN Minneapolis Office.

The annual salary range for this role is: $72,200.00 - $111,900.00 USD Annual. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
