Location: Minneapolis, MN | Schedule: 1st shift 6am to 3pm | Payrate: $27 - $30

As a CNC Programmer/Operator , you’ll play a key role in bringing concepts to life—transforming engineering designs into high-quality prototypes and production-ready parts that power creative, real-world solutions.

What You’ll Do

Step into a hands-on, high-impact role where craftsmanship meets cutting-edge technology:

  • Program and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts for prototypes and production

  • Interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine specifications

  • Collaborate closely with the R&D Shop Supervisor and Project Managers on daily output and project needs

  • Develop machining programs using tools like SolidWorks and Mastercam

  • Work with a variety of materials including wood, metal, plastics, and more

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment is in top operating condition

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

  • Follow all safety procedures and report any incidents promptly

  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement efforts

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3–5 years of CNC programming and operating experience

  • Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

  • Proficiency with CNC programming software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam)

  • Experience working with multiple materials (metal, wood, plastic, etc.)

  • Solid understanding of machining processes and equipment

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and wear PPE as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in prototype or R&D environments

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Flexibility to travel between locations as needed

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Pay Details: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
