CNC Operator – First Shift | Build, Create, and Shape What’s Next

As a CNC Operator , you’ll work with a wide range of equipment—from classic manual mills and lathes to modern CNC routers—to create high‑quality parts used in custom displays and exhibits. ?️ What You’ll Do
You’ll be a key contributor in a versatile, fast‑paced machine shop where creativity meets precision.
Operate manual mills, manual lathes, and CNC routers to manufacture custom parts
Work with woodworking routers to cut, shape, and design components
Read and interpret blueprints with accuracy and confidence
Perform inspections using basic hand tools to ensure every part meets quality standards
Produce parts used in trade show displays, exhibits, and specialty projects
Work with both modern and legacy machines—no two days feel the same
? What You Bring
2+ years of schooling and/or CNC or manual machining experience
Strong blueprint reading skills
Hands‑on experience with cabinet building, CNC wood, CNC router, manual lathe, and manual mill operations
Comfort using woodworking tools, power tools, and precision hand tools
Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools with accuracy
Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Big Plus)
CNC woodworking programming experience
Experience designing or programming router paths

? Work Environment
You’ll work in a clean, well‑lit, air‑conditioned, and humidity‑controlled shop designed for comfort and precision.
1st shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
Up to 10 hours of overtime per week available
Occasional Saturday shifts (6 AM–11 AM)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
