Job Description Job Title: Assembler Location: Minneapolis, MN Compensation: $17.00 per hour paid weekly Schedule: 1st & 2nd Shift | Full-time Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-time About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Assemblers for a respected manufacturing company in Minneapolis, MN. In this hands-on role, you ll help build and package quality products while working with a supportive team in a safe, organized environment. If you enjoy working with hand tools, performing repetitive tasks, and contributing to a production team, this could be a great fit. What You ll Do as an Assembler: Assemble, notch, punch, clip, and package materials Operate basic hand tools and equipment (air unit, double ram press, hand drill, rivet gun, glue gun, staple gun, bander, foam machine, etc.) Follow instructions from the Work Center Supervisor and information in shop packets Collaborate with team members to complete each step of the assembly process Participate in continuous improvement efforts and contribute ideas Assist with cross-training team members Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all safety standards Demonstrate professionalism and uphold company core values What You Need to Bring to the Assembler Role: High School Diploma or GED Strong attendance, dependability, and punctuality Ability to work well with others in a team environment Ability to perform basic wiring or sewing tasks (if applicable) Ability to obtain a license for powered material handling equipment (walkie), if applicable Entry-level candidates welcome Why You ll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability.
