Mental Health Program Coordinator (License Required)

Location: Garden City, NY | Schedule: Full Time, 35 hours per week| Status: Exempt |Salary: $66,300-66,500

If you're looking for a role where you can lead, grow, and make an impact, we invite you to apply for our Program Supervisor position within the Community Mental Health & Wellness Division – CFTSS (Children & Family Treatment Support Services).

This position requires a Master's Degree and Licensure in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Creative Arts Therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Community Mental Health & Wellness Division – CFTSS Program to ensure quality service delivery.

  • Lead the hiring process by screening and interviewing candidates to build a strong, passionate team that supports children’s mental health.

  • Oversee assignments and service capacity to ensure children and families receive the mental health services they need.

  • Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for your team.

  • Track and monitor all data/information required by the state.

  • Assist with state reports and audits.

  • Monitor data, ensure compliance with state regulations, and work closely with external entities.

  • Attend state meetings and collaborate with internal and external partners to improve access to care

Qualifications

  • Passion for helping children & families

  • Required: Master's Degree and Licensure required (LMSW, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Creative Arts Therapy)

  • At least 2 years of experience post licensure in Human Services.

  • Strong leadership & organizational skills

  • Supervisory experience is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & electronic health records.

  • A valid driver’s license with a clean record required.
