KEARNEY COUNTY HEALTH SERVICES Registered Nurse - Acute Care/ ER - Night Shift in Minden, Nebraska
Job Hours: - Night Shift (7P-7A) - Three 12 hour shifts - Weekend rotation (every 3rd) - Holiday rotation
Delivers nursing care utilizing standards of clinical practice
Implements or assists with nursing care services by attending to the physical and psychological needs of the patient
Prepares complete, concise nurse notes and other clinical records via electronic medical records
Collaborates with other departments and services to assure a safe and efficient continuum of care
Administers medications and treatments
Must be able to work in the capacities of Med Surg., Swing Bed, and Emergency Room settings
Current RN license in the State of Nebraska
Will require ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications within one year of employment if not already obtained
Effective critical thinking and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to successfully work in a team environment and with other departments
Must be able to comprehend all policies and procedures
Experience in all aspects of nursing a plus
