Seasonal Grounds Zoo Worker Milwaukee County Zoo Hourly Pay Range: \$11.23 - \$23.87 Job Summary:To assist in the general upkeep of operations of the Zoological Gardens and to perform assigned duties to ensure a pleasurable safe experience for all zoo visitors. Essential Responsibilities: Park Clean up: Under general supervision to remove waste, recyclables; to clean and pick paper; to leaf blow and pick up leaves, to remove snow and treat ice, to pick up and deliver animal food, browse, tables, chairs and other items. Landscaping: To operate riding and push mowers, weed whips, tillers, to aerate, plant, water, prune, weed, removal of evasive plants, to top dress, seed and perform other landscape functions. Lead and Drive: If possesses a valid Class D driver\'s license is able to operate electric and /or gas driven carts and light duty trucks; to lead a small crew of Zoo Workers; to work under minimal supervision.
