JOB REQUIREMENTS: Key Responsibilities Process and analyze veterinary patient samples accurately and efficiently Operate and monitor high-throughput laboratory instrumentation Perform microscopy procedures, including urinalysis, hematology, and parasite identification Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and meet increasing workload demands Utilize Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and interface with related laboratory technologies Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations Stock, track, and manage laboratory supplies and inventory Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety, quality, and compliance protocols Participate in ongoing training, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in a clinical, diagnostic, or veterinary laboratory setting Proficiency in one or more of the following areas: hematology, coagulation, chemistry, immunoassay, and urinalysis Strong technical aptitude with laboratory systems, including LIS or LIMS platforms Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
