JOB REQUIREMENTS: - As a Software Engineer IV, your role will be to support our Electrification division by performing and leading a variety of very complex engineering initiatives to design, plan, and oversee the architecture, design, development, and management of software systems applied to new or existing products. Evaluates progress and results of projects. Recommends changes in design, procedures or objectives as necessary. #LI-LB1 #LI-Hybrid You will do this by: Developing and managing control system software architecture for complex integrated power systems and without pre-defined requirements. Using MATLAB/Simulink to create complex embedded control software and understands plant modelling and physics of systems being controlled. Deploying control algorithms to embedded controllers (rapid prototyping and production ECU) Creating very complex software requirements, specifications and validation plans from loosely formed project level inputs. Partnering with other departments to help drive business decisions Developing engineering test standards Acting as a liaison between other departments as necessary Developing very complex system architectures across multiple product lines that enable cohesive integration, component maintainability, and reuse Owning the entire product software lifecycle.
