Job Overview As a Quality Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for a range of support activities for the Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Quality teams. The Quality Engineer Intern will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and Supplier Quality to revise, develop and publish information related to product and process controls. The position will also focus on consolidation of quality management system (QMS) documentation, and the development and deployment of an online repository for critical to quality work instructions, forms and procedures. This on-site position will be based at our South Harbor location in Milwaukee\'s Harbor District. The target start date for this role is Summer 2026 and has potential to be extended into the Fall 2026 school semester. We offer full-time hours during the summer and flexible part-time hours during the academic year. Key Job Responsibilities Develop best practice document review, approval, distribution, and archival workflows utilizing modern document control technologies and platforms (ex. SharePoint, SolidWorks PDM or digital workflow tools). Maintain and control all QMS documents, including procedures, work instructions, forms, policies, and quality records. Support digital transformation efforts by introducing new tools that improve document visibility, collaboration, and version control. Evaluate and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual workloads and enhance data reliability. Assist with key quality assurance metrics and data collection. Conduct product, process and document control audits with written reports for management reviews. Provide quality analysis and support in areas of manufacturing as directed. Investigate the causes underperforming quality metrics and participate in corrective and preventive actions. Qualifications/Requirements Pursuing a bachelor\'s degree in Quality, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or similar technical degree, from an accredited college or university. Sophomore, Junior, or Senior, level student in good academic standing Ability to work independently as well as part of a team towards a shared goal.
