Position Description The Quality Engineer II is responsible for ensuring that all products, components, and processes meet the company\'s quality and safety standards. This role focuses on developing and improving quality systems, managing nonconformances and returns, leading corrective and preventive actions, and ensuring compliance with internal requirements and industry standards. The QE II collaborates closely with crossfunctional teams and serves as a key technical resource for both internal and external stakeholders, supporting a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and accountability. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and customer-specific quality requirements. Develop, implement, and sustain quality management systems, procedures, and records in support of both operational and regulatory compliance. Lead and support internal audits, customer audits, and third-party assessments; develop and execute effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Drive root cause investigations using structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 5 Whys, 8D, fishbone analysis) to resolve non-conformances and prevent recurrence. Prepare and submit PPAP packages, and related quality documentation to customers and end users. Will oversee the internal audit system and identity and monitor corrective actions resulting from both internal and external audits. Support Modine customer base by providing first call support and acting as the Voice of the Customer in the facility.
