Job Description As the Production Planning Manager, you will drive the execution of Rockwell Automation\'s North America master production schedule-aligning closely with S&OP outputs, optimizing capacity, and ensuring our manufacturing plans support customer needs, resource utilization, and inventory goals. In this highly visible, cross-functional role, you\'ll guide a team of master schedulers, collaborate with supply chain and plant leadership, and shape the processes that keep our global supply network performing at its best. Your Responsibilities: Lead the North America Master Production Scheduling team and ensure alignment with S&OP priorities. Develop and maintain the master production schedule and roughcut capacity plans for assigned work cells. Partner with Demand Managers, Production Control, Materials, and plant leadership to coordinate accurate, capacityaligned manufacturing plans. Oversee planning of manufacturing orders to match weekly S&OP targets and product mix requirements. Support new product introductions and product phaseout plans to minimize excess and obsolete inventory. Monitor short and longterm capacity constraints and guide decisions to reduce pastdue orders and overtime. Collaborate with Supply Chain partners to drive continuous improvement in service levels, inventory, and productivity. Provide monthly updated supply plans and forecast inputs across product families. Track, analyze, and report key KPIs, recommending and implementing plantspecific improvements. Ensure master scheduling practices support plant financial goals and overall materials strategy. Build strong crossfunctional relationships and lead consistent scheduling processes across global teams.
