Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Job Description

Engage in the daily operation of brake press machinery for cutting and fabricating parts for a diverse range of clients. This role offers opportunities for cross-training on new machines, ensuring a dynamic work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate brake press machinery to cut and fabricate parts.

  • Cross-train on various machines to provide support across different areas.

  • Set up and program different types of machinery including Bystronic, Accupress, and CNC.

  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.

  • Utilize tools such as calipers and micrometers effectively.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in turret, brake, or laser operation.

  • Ability to read blueprints accurately.

  • Experience in operating and setting up brake press machines.

  • Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with brands like Diamond, Triumph, and Toyoke.

  • Interest in learning and operating different machinery within the shop.

  • Experience with machine programming and setup is beneficial, though not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
