JOB REQUIREMENTS: Weigh and formulate spices and brines according to product recipe Follow recipes Layout, sort and identify various types of meat Visually inspect all poduct throughout the formulcatoin process Set-up, change-over, operatoin troubleshooting, minor preventive maintenance or tooling and break down of choppers, grinders, emulsifiers, mixers and tumblers Perform lock-out/tag-out Wash and sanitize equipment as needed Add spices/brines per product specifications Follow production schedule and documentation work performed and raw materials utilized Take and document temperatures as required Perform general labor work and other duties as assigned Comply with strict food and worker safety procedures Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to requirements. Compound or process ingredients or dyes, according to formulas. Read work orders to determine production specifications or information. Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Mix or blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times. Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment. Operate or tend machines to mix or blend any of a wide variety of materials, such as spices, dough batter, tobacco, fruit juices, chemicals, livestock feed, food products, color pigments, or explosive ingredients. Add or mix chemicals or ingredients for processing, using hand tools or other devices. Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands to ensure conformance to established standards. Record operational or production data on specified forms. Unload mixtures into containers or onto conveyors for further processing. Clean and maintain equipment, using hand tools. Dislodge and clear jammed materials or other items from machinery or equipment, using hand tools. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Previous food manufacturing experienced preferred Previous experience following recipes along with tan interest in food processing/cooking preferred Must be mechanically inclined; able to set-up/take down and troubleshoot Familiarity of sanitation and food handling protocols within the food industry preferred Good verbal and written communicatoin skills are a must Able to count and read weights on a scale; Ability to take/read temperatures Good manual dexterity Must be reliable and cooperative ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply In Person: 303 E.
