JOB REQUIREMENTS: Dematic is seeking talented Mechanical Engineers to join our Global Project Engineering team! The Mechanical Engineering team performs engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives while on multi-discipline project teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about engineering projects through to completion, building relationships with customers, and undertaking opportunity in a growing industry and team. These roles could be based at any of our major hub locations in Grand Rapids, MI, Milwaukee, WI, Atlanta, GA, or Plano, TX. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be \$84,750 - \$124,300 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will do in This Role: Participates in the design of complex systems that integrate mechanical hardware, controls components, and software Provides support in complex material specification, and preparation of engineering sketches, manufacture equipment, and layout drawings, with appropriate follow-up Participate in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction Create & check layouts, detailed drawings, Bills of Materials for compliance to engineering standards, safety requirements and customer specifications Participate in design reviews with cross functional team members to identify and resolve readily identifiable, clearly-defined problems Follow Purchase Request and Order Entry processes to purchase equipment Work with team members and customer to solve problems and troubleshoot equipment on-site Perform site audits to collect project and solution information as required Support on-site installation and engineering commissioning efforts as required What We are Looking For: BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering or related field of engineering (5+) years of industry related experience or mechanical engineering preferred Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures Comprehends project...
