Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities: - Perform bench and structural assembly, boxing, and bagging of parts, components, and assemblies for snowplow and ice control product lines and accessories - Participate in team-based manufacturing and total quality commitment activities - Assume ownership of product quality and workplace safety - Participate in training and 6-S activities - Perform designated maintenance functions - Assemble products in paced conveyor and non-paced environments - Set up and operate assembly and packaging equipment - Unload parts from powered conveyors - Operate bagging machines, strappers, and assorted power and hand tools - Maintain safe working conditions and 6-S standards - Meet production plans and takt time requirements - Reduce and control scrap - Report assembly, packaging, or workplace issues to BU lead or supervisor - Use various material handling equipment - Perform timely preventive maintenance ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or GED - Previous assembly experience - Ability to comply with all regulations, procedures and company policies - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods - Ability to reach, bend and crouch throughout shift - Ability to lift up to 50lbs ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: browndeer@qpsemployment.com Apply Online: https://jobs.qpsemployment.com/jobs/796848 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
