JOB REQUIREMENTS: Land Acquisition Project Manager \$48,500K - 60k /Annually; Compensation based on experience Full-Time, Salaried / Exempt, M-F 8 am-4:30 pm Job Summary: The Land Acquisition Project Manager supports Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity\'s mission to build our community by evaluating strategic property opportunities. This role supports the organization\'s broader land and neighborhood development strategy by identifying, tracking, and evaluating city-owned lots, TID opportunities, infill parcels, and other real estate opportunities. The right candidate for this position will take ownership of our Land Acquisition process from identifying potential properties through the due diligence and municipal approvals process, up to the final walk-through. Key Responsibilities: Identify, track, and evaluate city-owned lots, TID opportunities, infill parcels, and other strategic real estate opportunities. Conduct or coordinate due diligence for potential sites, including: title review, zoning and land use review, environmental considerations, utility access and availability, survey and lot configuration review, and easements and development constraints. Develop and maintain a \"land-to-build\" timeline that integrates acquisition, approvals, financing, and construction readiness. Oversee site-related approval processes such as Certified Survey Maps (CSMs), lot splits, reconfigurations, or related entitlement actions Support management of Habitat-owned properties post-build and prior to homeowner closing, including temporary property oversight and compliance-related needs. Support special real estate development or neighborhood strategy initiatives as assigned. Evaluate select donated, bargain-purchase, or strategic real estate opportunities when relevant to organizational goals. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor\'s degree in Urban Planning, Construction Management, Real Estate, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 to 4 years of direct professional experience in land use, residential pre-construction, or site due diligence will be considered in lieu of a degree. Ability to assess risk, anticipate barriers, and proactively move projects forward Strong personal and written communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
