BRIGGS & STRATTON LLC Intern Software Engineering in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Working out of our corporate headquarters your primary goal as a Software Engineering Intern will be to provide valuable support to one or more designated business functions. You will be exposed to and actively participate in projects across various functional areas, allowing you to broaden your skillset and gain hands-on experience. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to expand and enhance your foundational knowledge, complementing your academic studies. Throughout the internship, you will engage and interact with supervisors, team members, project leaders, and other business functions, fostering collaboration and communication skills. Timeline: Summer 2026 - 12 weeks (late May - early to mid August) Hours per week: 40 hours per week Pay: dependent upon year in school Location: onsite at our headquarters campus in Wauwatosa, WI (no relocation provided) Projects may include: Use case testing and timings High priority system enhancements You will do this by: Supporting functional staff by performing basic and repetitive assignments Participating in a variety of assignments in functional areas Performing specific and limited portions of less complex assignments for higher-level staff The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.
