JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Your primary goal as a Mechanical Design Engineer Intern will be to provide valuable support to one or more designated business functions. You will be exposed to and actively participate in projects across various functional areas, allowing you to broaden your skillset and gain hands-on experience. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to expand and enhance your foundational knowledge, complementing your academic studies. Throughout the internship, you will engage and interact with supervisors, team members, project leaders, and other business functions, fostering collaboration and communication skills. #LI-DNP Timeline: Summer 2026 - 12 weeks (late May - early to mid August) Hours per week: 40 hours per week Pay: dependent upon year in school Location: onsite at our headquarters campus in Wauwatosa, WI (no housing stipend or relocation provided) You will do this by: Under supervision, performing simple, routine, and repetitive designs using standard procedures, tools, materials, machines, equipment and software Learning PTC Creo and working on small projects, engineering changes, learning the Briggs & Stratton engine systems and shadowing an engineer and senior designer Assisting on projects as needed The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.
