The HR Supervisoris responsible foroverseeing the administration of employee benefits, leave of absence programs, and workers\' compensation, while providing direct supervision and strategic guidance to the Employee Engagement Coordinator. This role ensures regulatory compliance, operational consistency, and a positive employee experience across the employment lifecycle. The HR Supervisor serves as a subject matter expert, escalation point, and people leader within the Human Resources team. Primary responsibilities: Provide oversight and quality control for the administration of all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and wellness programs. Serve as an escalation resource for complex benefits issues, employee concerns, and carrierrelated challenges. Ensureaccurateprocessing of enrollments, changes, terminations, and COBRA events in compliance with federal and state regulations. Partner with Horizon leadership on benefits strategy, open enrollment planning, employee communications, and vendor management. Oversee and ensure compliant administration of all leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, personalleaves, military leave, and other statutory or companysponsored leaves. Review and approve leave determinations, extensions, and returntowork processes. Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and coordination with payroll, managers, and thirdparty administrators as applicable. Act as a resource to leaders and employeesregardingleave rights, responsibilities, and timelines. Oversee workers\' compensation claims administration, ensuringtimelyreporting, investigation, and followup. Coordinate with insurance carriers, managers, and employees tofacilitatereturntowork and modified duty asappropriate. Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for the Employee Engagement Coordinator.
