JOB REQUIREMENTS: JusticePoint is looking for a detail oriented, people-person to assess the risk/needs of individuals referred for Early Interventions programs. Using an actuarial risk and needs assessment (Ohio Risk Assessment System and Stages of Change Readiness and Treatment Eagerness Scale) the Assessment Specialist will determine an individual\'s risk level, programming needs, and eligibility for diversion and treatment court programming in Milwaukee County. The Assessment Specialist will be responsible for communicating the eligibility and programming recommendations of the individual to system stakeholders. Many of the individuals served are experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders. This role requires an individual who is both empathetic and compassionate. Responsibilities of the Assessment Specialist include completing face-to-face assessments, providing written eligibility reports to system stakeholders, maintaining and oversight of the assessment scheduling calendar, entering and maintaining case information in the electronic database, quality assurance checks of completed assessments, and other duties as assigned. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Competencies: Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) Ability to work well with individuals from diverse economic, racial, and ethnic backgrounds and LGBTQIA+ identities Proficient in communicating professionally & accurately, both orally and written Organized, attentive to detail, ability to multi-task, work independently Fluency in Spanish, spoken and written preferred Previous experience working with criminal justice-involved clients preferred Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or related Human Services field Valid driver\'s license and automobile with insurance Pass a pre-employment background check conducted by the Milwaukee County Sheriff\'s Department Ascribe to & champion The Difference Principles ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: https://justicepoint.org/careers
