Your role and responsibilities
As a Customer Success Engineer, you will design viable client solutions by leveraging current product capabilities and remove technical inhibitors to sales opportunities. You will work with clients to drive adoption and expansion of IBM products to accelerate client value. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Design Client Solutions: Design viable client solutions by leveraging current product capabilities, removing technical inhibitors to sales opportunities, and creating technical proof points through technical accelerators such as demonstrations, POTs, POCs, Workshops, Solution Design, and MVPs.
• Drive Customer Value: Drive customer value by activating entitlements, finding sponsors, conducting use-case workshops, and establishing measurable business outcomes with client sponsors and stakeholders.
• Develop Success Plans: Develop a success plan that describes deployment roadmap(s), milestones, and outcomes with client sponsors and stakeholders, and deeply understand clients' main challenges to become a trusted guide for their modernization and adoption of IBM's technology portfolio.
• Deliver Technical Proof Points: Create and deliver technical proof points through technical accelerators to demonstrate the value of IBM products and solutions.
• Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide technical expertise, and drive adoption and expansion of IBM products.
The CSE provides prospects, customers, IBM business partners and the IBM’s sales team with in-depth domain, product, solutions and/or technical product expertise covering the IBM Automation Application Development pillar. This pillar includes solutions such as Websphere, Websphere modernizations(EASeJ, MoRE, EAR), CloudPak for Applications, IBM DevOps Platform, ELM Application Suite, SPectrum LSF and more.
Required technical and professional expertise
Foundational experience with IBM Automation Application Development solutions and/or competing solutions
Must have a proven record of successfully understanding client issues and pulling together strategies to ensure the client is successful.
Excellent customer relations; verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to successfully work with sales reps, SMEs and business partners to close business deals.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and associated opportunities simultaneously.
Ability to learn IBM’s line of products and services.
Ability to analyze and resolve business and technical challenges.
Ability to negotiate and prioritize projects.
Travel up to 60% or 3 days a week (home on weekends- based on project requirements)
English: Fluent
