Day to Day
The Legal Team is seeking a Corporate Counsel, Revenue Contracts, to support the negotiation and management of commercial agreements related to Indeed’s products and services. In this role, you will review, draft, and negotiate a high volume of revenue-generating contracts, helping to protect the company while enabling business growth.
Working closely with Sales and internal Legal partners, you will provide practical guidance on contract terms, balance risk with business objectives, and ensure agreements are clear, accurate, and aligned with company standards. You will also develop a deep understanding of Indeed’s product offerings and the legal considerations associated with each.
This role requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements with Indeed’s clients
Evaluate legal risk and negotiate contract terms with clients or other parties through document redlines and conference calls
Manage the contract lifecycle, including amendments, renewals, and modifications, in partnership with Legal Operations Analysts
Contribute to contract negotiations involving privacy, data retention, PII, and other sensitive data risk mitigation efforts
Partner closely with Sales to structure deals that support business and revenue objectives while maintaining commercially competitive contract terms
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements and remain up to date on legal and regulatory developments affecting contracts
Create and update policies and procedures to improve the revenue contract process within Indeed
Skills/Competencies
Requires a JD, a minimum of 8 years of related experience (minimum 4 years in contracts), and active membership in a US state bar
Extensive knowledge of contract law, corporate transactions, and revenue contracts
Effective problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple complex agreements and deadlines
Ability to balance legal risk with practical business considerations
Ability to translate legal concepts into clear, practical guidance
Ability to build collaborative working relationships across teams
Sound judgment and attention to detail.

Salary Range Transparency
Tier 1 - United States of America 127,00 - 191,000 USD per year
Tier 2 - United States of America 142,000 - 212,000 USD per year
