Actalent Construction Project Manager in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Description

Summary:

The OnSite Delivery PM owns execution of all onsite energy infrastructure translating approved designs into constructible packages and driving field ready alignment across utility GC and client teams. They are accountable for drawing reviews constructability resolution and onsite schedule integration ensuring utility substation transmission and DC site work remain aligned to the critical path. The role focuses on managing day to day schedule risk sequencing and issue resolution in the field to protect energization milestones and turnover dates.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

  • Present and explain proposals reports and findings to clients.

  • Recruit employees assign direct and evaluate their work and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.

  • Analyze technology resource needs and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

  • Confer with management production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.

  • Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.

    Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills problem solving skills attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage ones time.

  • Knowledge of production processes quality control costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning resource allocation and production methods.

  • Knowledge of computer software such as MS Word MS PowerPoint MS Project Visio etc.

    Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.

  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.

  • 5 years experience required.

Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.

Disqualifiers: Candidates without a power background or with mismatched industry experience will not be considered for this role.

Best vs. average: (See additional information in Beeline) Electrical engineering foundation with hands‑on field execution exposure, Utility and EPC experience strongly preferred and Microsoft / hyperscale delivery experience a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $78.00/hr.
