JOB REQUIREMENTS: WSP USA Buildings, Inc. Job Title: Associate Consultant, Mechanical Engineer Location: 233 N Water Street 6th Floor, Milwaukee, WI 53202 Duties: Demonstrates developing analytical skills and ability to solve technical problems in professional discipline. Ability to read and comprehend operating manuals, blueprints, and drawings. Ability to utilize analytical techniques in solving technical problems. Demonstrates commitment to high quality technical performance utilizing current technical knowledge and applications. Works on detailed or routine assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tasks. Ability to produce high quality technical and professional deliverables on projects and proposals. Demonstrates developing competency in utilizing computer software tools and applications to solve difficult problems. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision. Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline plus one year of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Research Assistant, or related role. Internship experience is acceptable. Must have experience in performing detailed hydraulic modeling and pressure drop analysis of chilled-water distribution systems using PipeFlo, ensuring accurate pump sizing, valve selection, and redundancy scenarios for large-scale data center projects; performing Trane Trace load and energy modeling to size central plants and distribution systems, balancing efficiency with uptime, and ensuring compliance with both client performance standards and code requirements; and producing and modifying hydronic and mechanical system drawings and equipment layouts in Revit and AutoCAD, with experience drafting detailed piping schematics, schedules, and coordination drawings for construction deliverables.
