West Virginia Employer Front Desk Clerk in Milton, West Virginia

The Front Desk Clerk is responsible for providing a warm, personalized, and seamless guest experience from arrival through departure at a 109-room luxury resort. This role serves as the first and last impression of the property and is essential in delivering exceptional service consistent with luxury hospitality standards. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about guest service excellence Reservations & Billing: Manage room reservations and verify guest information. Process payments, post charges, and reconcile accounts accurately. Ensure billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Promote upselling opportunities such as room upgrades and resort packages. __ Communication & Coordination: Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments regarding room status and guest needs. Maintain accurate room inventory in the Property Management System (PMS). Log guest requests, maintenance issues, and service follow-ups. Guest Relations & Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns with professionalism and empathy. Escalate complex issues to management when necessary. Maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations. __ Administrative Duties: Maintain organized front desk area and professional appearance. Follow cash-handling and security procedures. Complete shift reports and documentation accurately. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality education preferred. 12 years of customer service experience; luxury hotel experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and basic computer skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
