Bedrock Care Physical Therapy Assistant in MILTON, Pennsylvania
*Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA)! *
*Multiple opportunities - full time, part time or per diem available. *
The primary function of the PTA is to provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of the PT and according to state guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited university with a degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Holds current license and/or registration in the state of Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Provide treatment to residents under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in carrying out individualized therapy plans to improve mobility, function, and quality of life
- Document services accurately per company, state, and federal guidelines
- Collaborate closely with PTs, other rehab staff, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate residents and families on home exercises and functional strategies
- Track patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
