There is position for active permanent vacancies.
Position Overview:
Wages: $18.35/hr
Shift timings: 2300 to 0700
Location: Milton, Ontario.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports operationally to the Security Shift Supervisor.
Respond to emergencies including but not limited to fires, hazardous material events, medicals and other calls for assistance.
Patrols interior and exterior of entire facility.
Main dispatch and system monitoring for internal and external emergency services.
Responsible for enforcing visitor protocol and access control for the site.
Utilize CCTV system.
Implement site Emergency Response Plan as required.
Incident Report writing and keep daily activity log.
Atmospheric Monitoring for Confined Space Entry Permits as required.
Perform fire watch duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: * *
Valid Ontario Security License.
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain.
Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response and minimum of 1 year of Supervisor experience.
G Class Drivers License is required with Clean Driver’s abstract.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Tech savvy with experience monitoring CCTV cameras and using 2-way radios.
Scheduling experience is preferred.
