GRS Transit 7D-Certified Van Driver in Milton, Massachusetts
Position Description/Minimum Qualifications * Assist Students to enter and exit the vehicle as needed Obey all traffic laws at all time while operating our motor vehicle Maintain all required documents including Trip sheets, Pre, Post and Mid-trip inspections Communicate effectively and clearly in (English) with students, parents, teachers, and staff Safely operate a motor vehicle, in accordance with all State and Federal traffic laws, while driving school-aged children Active MA 7D certificate - issued by the RMV, valid for 1 year Valid MA driver\'s license - held continuously for at least 3 years Clean driving record - no major violations or at-fault accidents Passed CORI & SORI checks - criminal and sex offender background clearance Current physical & eye exam - required for certification Following assigned routes on schedule - punctuality is non-negotiable GPS/route navigation proficiency Reporting incidents to the dispatcher or operator promptly Reliability - showing up every single weekday, on time, no exceptions Discretion - especially on McKinney-Vento and special needs routes where student information is sensitive *Calm under pressure - traffic, late schedules, and student incidents are part of the job* E-mail Resume to contact@grstransit.com, Call Direct or Apply in Person
