Mars Management Accountant - 12 Month Contract in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom

We’re looking for a part-qualified Management Accountant who’s keen to grow and develop supporting the Horsecare business. You’ll need a strong eye for detail and experience in a similar role. What are we looking for?
Working towards an Accountant qualification.
Experience of working in a business.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Assist in the preparation of period-end management accounts, providing insights on budget variances.
Ensure timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts.
Partner with department heads on decision-making, cost control, and support in YEE meetings and board pack commentary.
Support internal/external audits, Mars G&C processes, and Mars financial submissions (OneStream, HFM).
Pull together P&L and also support with monthly payroll
In the first 3 months you will have a good understanding of how the business operates, to be working independently and to have built networks with stakeholders.
